PAAVO PANDA

In loving memory of Liisa Keisa.

The Paavo Panda project has changed its shape

Paavo Panda's idea evolved from a wordless picture book into a 3D model and eventually a small wordless short animation was born.

In the animation, I deal with the death of a close person, loss, fear of loss and fear itself as a concept. I thought about how fear limits life and prevents a person from doing things. At the end of the animation, the character faces fear and the protagonist realizes that irrational fear is pointless. The purpose of the Paavo Panda site is to inspire and inspire others to boldly work creatively and think independently, even if you don't know anything yet or don't even know where to start.

PAAVO PANDA CHARACTER

Paavo Panda's purpose is to boldly inspire and inspire others to work creatively and think independently, even if they don't know anything yet or even know where to start.

WORK PRINT

The sound world is built from my own singing voice and was inspired by the song of a bird that built a nest in a tree in the backyard. I recorded a bird's song and created another sound world inspired by the song.

SHORT ANIMATION

Fear should act as a motivating element in life, and not to limit it.

You will find more detailed information on the different stages of the project's development.

How the thought process has evolved. A small non-verbal fairy tale for non-verbal animation.

The pictures in the coloring book are full-size (A3) turtle-themed coloring pictures.

The pictures in the coloring book are drawn from imagination directly on A3 paper (Fineline ink drawing). This is why the name of the book is Doodle Art.

I always draw when I'm anxious or stressed. I hope that this little coloring book offers others a moment of relief from the stress and anxiety of life.

Tip: Use the lines in the pictures in the coloring book as a guide to create your own artwork.

PRACTICE SHADING AND LINE WEIGHT

When I feel stressed about not having any good new ideas I color colouring books. Or actually like in this case NOT color anything. I just played around with line weight and shadows.

Here are the first three openings of the coloring book shaded and outlined.

This is how the cover and the idea for the coloring pictures came about.

GOOD NIGHT Little Goldfish

Good Night Little Goldfish is a translation of original story Näkevätkö kalat unta ? This tale was born in 2015, And I decided to translate it in 2019.

A story of a Little Goldfish and how I imagined he sees the world. The world from the point of view of a fish and his best friend, a little boy.
